the Scrapbooks.com, Scrapjazz.com and Scrapbook.com
web sites. Banners rotate throughout our web sites and are shown at the top of
each page in prominent locations, to ensure optimum visibility. When our visitors
"click" on the ad, they are directed to your web site.
We've now implemented the technology so that we can control where (geographically) your ads are shown. You can choose the countries and
states where your ads will be run and only users in those specific areas will see
your banner ads.
This is a perfect solution for brick and mortar retail stores, regional conventions, and any other
geo-specific service or event.
What's an impression?
An impression is an "ad view." Any time a user visits a web page and
your ad is shown on that web page, it counts as one "impression."
What is CTR (Click Through Ratio)?
CTR ("Click Through Ratio" or "Click Through Rate") is a
way of measuring the number of times the banner was "clicked" relative
to the number of times the banner was displayed. If a banner has been clicked
50 times and has been displayed 1000 times, its CTR is 50:1000 or 5%. Generally, GEO specific banner ads
get a higher CTR than generic ads because they are more specific and relevant to the end-user.
We sell banner impressions in increments of 100,000. Impressions are
prepaid, so you'll be able to control how much you want to spend up front. To
purchase more than 100,000 impressions, just add additional quantities to your
shopping cart (i.e. Purchasing 10 of these will buy you one million banner impressions
on the Scrapbook Network of sites).
You can display multiple banner designs within the same ad campaign at no additional
cost. This allows you to advertise different products or services with the same
account. You can also see which ads are most effective at bringing you visitors,
enabling you to get the best return-on-investment (ROI). We STRONGLY recommend adding something to your banner
that is specific to your location (like a flag, or even the state name).
Campaigns do not expire until all of your impressions have been used.
Scrapbook Advertising does not guarantee that your ads will be used within a
specific time frame, though we will work to target your desired campaign length.

Important: After you purchase your banners, you will receive a confirmation
email that will provide you with additional information on how you should submit
your ad. One of our reps will also contact you within one business day with
additional information. We will provide you a log-in and password to our
ad management system so that you can independently track the effectiveness of
your campaign. You will be able to see how each of your banners is performing
– impressions, clicks, and click through ratios.
